Notes
Two volumes of short stories, poetry and journalism, duodecimo (7 1/2" x 4 1/2") bound in half calf with marbled boards, hinges in both volumes split but attached, spines worn with some losses, title on red labels and volume number on black labels, internally very good, the text blocks are complete but mis ordered: volume i is paginated 1 - 96, then 1 to 96 then again 1 - 96 but the end of The Spaleen and the begining of The Innkeeper of Andermatt are bound into volume 2 as pages 79 to 93 (see following note on volume 2 pagination); Paddy Blake's Echo in the volume 1 table of contents is bound as the last item in volume 2. Volume 2 pagination runs 1 to 84, then four pages of advertisements then 1 to94, then 1 to 78 then the misbinding from volume 1. It is all there but all over the place. Despite, perhaps because of, everything a very entertaining pair of volumes. [General Information: 10% discount for all direct purchases.
